The Kentucky Christian men’s basketball team also traveled to Alice Lloyd College as part of a Lady Knight/Knight basketball doubleheader and nearly came away with the difficult road win.

ALC bested the Knights 87-80 despite a 34-pt performance from Connor Maddox.

Maddox hit six 3-point shots on his way to a 14-19 night on the hardwood. Owens Crawford also reached double-digits as he was 6-14 from the field with three 3-pointers, six rebounds, and four assists. On the glass, KCU was led by Juran Ligonde’s 12 rebounds followed by Cole Gilliland with eight.

The Knights shot a respectable .469 overall and .409 from the arc but it was the eight additional turnovers committed by KCU that ultimately was the difference. Kentucky Christian traveled to Canton, Ohio, for their season finale Tuesday as they took on Malone College.
