The Kentucky Christian University Knights were on the road this Saturday for afternoon basketball action. KCU found themselves in Lynchburg, Virginia, with the Liberty University Flames as their opponent but when the final horn had sounded, Liberty owned a 96-55 win.
The Knights placed three scorers in double-figures led by Austin Robinson’s 13 points on 5-8 shooting from the floor (1-4 3points) and 2-2 from the charity stripe. Also reaching double-digits were the duo of Ethan Leist (10 points) and Connor Maddox (11 points).
In a game that was dominated by the Flames’ overall size and athleticism, KCU got 10 fewer shots for the game and shot .246 (KCU .351-LU .597) less from the floor than the home team.
