Deerfield, IL – The Kentucky Christian University women's basketball team got the split for their efforts in game two of the Trinity International University Trojan Classic by defeating Emmaus Bible College 72-68.
As the score would indicate, statistically, the game was very close. Overall, KCU shot 41.7% from the floor as compared to EBC and their 39.3% but the real difference in the game was from the 3pt arc and free throw line. The Eagles made four more three-point shots than did Kentucky Christian but the Knights converted six more free throws than Emmaus.
The Lady Knights placed three players in double figured scoring led by Sydney Foster. Foster had 28 pts on 10-19 from the field, 2- 5 3pters and 6-7 from the charity stripe as well as seven rebounds. Joining her in double digits was the duo of Jordan Holt (17 pts/3assts) and Breanna Hines (10 pts/4 stls).
The Lady Knights return home for their first home game of the season as they host the Grenadiers of Indiana University Southeast. Game time is set for 6:00PM.
