The Miss Grayson Scholarship Organization has two new Queens.

On Sunday, Alyssa Williams, a 21-year-old student at Morehead State University majoring in Convergent Media, was crowned Miss Grayson 2020. Her talent was a vocal presentation of “La Vie En Rose” and Alyssa’s platform issue is BeYOUtiful: Overcoming Adversity and Promoting Diversity.

Jasmine Webb, a 15-year-old student at Russell High School, was named Miss Grayson’s Outstanding Teen. She played “White Water Chopped Sticks” on the piano as her talent and Jasmine’s platform is Build–A-Bed.

Both young ladies will compete for the state titles during the first week of June at the Historic Brown Theater in Louisville.

The Miss Grayson Scholarship Organization, sponsored by the Grayson Area Chamber of Commerce, awarded at total of $1,650 in scholarships on Sunday.

On Saturday the Miss Grayson Scholarship Organization sponsored a Little Miss Heart of Grayson Valentine Pageant with all proceeds benefiting the scholarship fund.

The division winners were: Baby Miss Halle Jo Wade, Tiny Miss Sadie Hicks, Mini Miss Priscilla Zandejas (Zan- Da- Hus), Little Miss RandiLynn Sanders and Pre-Teen Miss Jayden Williams.
