Snowy Brooke Hall

An 18-year-old woman lost her life Monday when her vehicle collided with a utility truck on an entrance ramp of Interstate 64.

Snowy Brooke Hall of Grayson was pronounced dead at the scene after her Chevy Blazer crashed into the truck hauling three men.

The Boyd County Sheriff’s Department worked the 2:15 p.m. accident and reported that none of the men were injured. The collision took place at the 181-mile marker near Kentucky Electric Steel.

Hall had just graduated from East Carter High School in May and was the daughter of Johnny Gene Hall and Cloma Jean Elliott Hall of Grayson.

Hall was a member of the Iron Hill Missionary Baptist Church and attended college in Ashland. While her dream was to become a registered nurse, she had achieved the title of state registered nursing assistant and worked at the Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Hall leaves behind a large family and many friends who will miss her. Her funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at Malone Funeral Home and then she will be laid to rest in the East Carter Memory Gardens.
