I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in Olive Hill’s 50th Annual Tom T Hall Homecoming Celebration. It would be impossible to name each and every person involved in creating, planning, and working the wide variety of events that made up the celebration but I am going to make an attempt and apologize in advance for anyone I missed.
First, to Mr. Tom T. Hall “The Storyteller”, we thank you for allowing us to honor you and your music. We also thank you for your support of Olive Hill and the Olive Hill Area Chamber of Commerce. We hope you enjoyed the videos and pictures from the celebration.
Secondly, to the Homecoming Committee…without you our homecoming celebration simply does not happen. Tammy Moore led meetings and together with the help of volunteers; Von Perry, Joe & Audra Foltz, Angie Burton, Twanita Cooper, Brenda Reynolds, Kimber Rayburn, Carla Fultz, Anita Roe, Jill York, Nellie Middleton, Stevie Clay, Jesse Oney, Debbie Baker Harman, John Bailey, Curtis Owens, and Debbie Rayburn; long hours planning, working, cleaning, monitoring, and lots more were completed! I would also like to thank those who worked closely with the committee but were unable to attend meetings; JD Rayburn, Taylor Duncan, Chelsa Hamilton, John Steagall, Randy Steagall, and Angela Fultz we say “thank you!”

To the City of Olive Hill Mayor Jerry Callihan, Olive Hill City Council, Angela Owens, the Olive Hill Fire Department, and the City of Olive Hill Maintenance Department we are so appreciative of everything you do in preparation for Homecoming and any other event we host. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Thank you!
To Richard Short, JD Rayburn, Dalton Conley, Jessie Lawhorn, Harley Collins, Emaley Russell, Chris Peyera, the WCMS Y-Club, and various business owners thank you for cleaning, trimming hedges, pulling weeds, picking up trash, sweeping, shoveling up dirt, decorating, and more at the Depot and around town! Even with the infrastructure upgrade currently happening in town things still looked good and was very patriotic.
