Work continues on the Carter County Sports Park, with concrete footers of the main concession area scheduled for pouring late Friday morning. The concession stand is the first area to have concrete poured in the park, with footers for the other buildings on the site to be poured later this month.
Funtoberfest kicks off tonight, with free inflatables in the park and a community movie at the Grayson Fire Department. It continues through Saturday, with various events and activities throughout the day. See the photo gallery for a complete schedule of events.
