Carter Caves State Resort Park manager Chris Perry, and representatives from county Youth Service Centers in each school, pose with food collected during the park's annual Haunted Trail event. Food and cash donations collected over the month of October were donated to each of the county's ten schools. In addition to food and backpacks, donated by All-American Graphics, that will be used to distribute the food to needy students in each school, the park took in $8,000 in cash, which came out to $800 per school. The food and funds will benefit over 400 students throughout the county who depend on the services provided by the Youth Service Centers. (Photos by Jeremy D. Wells, Journal-Times)
