June 16, 2014 — Ms. Julia Mae Owens Clark, age 34, of Sawmill Road, Olive Hill, passed away Friday evening, June 13, 2014, at her mother’s residence after a long battle with cancer.
She was born December 18, 1979, in Morehead, a daughter of Terry Owens and Gale Archer Owens.
Julia was of the Christian faith and a homemaker. She enjoyed living life to the fullest and spending time with her children and family.
Julia is survived by her father, Terry Owens of Rowan County; her mother, Gale Archer Owens and companion, Curtis Bryant, of Olive Hill; one son, Keegan Blade Clark of Olive Hill; two daughters, Keeauna Jade Clark and Kylee LaShae Hall, both of Olive Hill; one brother and sister-in-law, Curtis Lee and Teresa Owens of Olive Hill; one sister, Terri Kaye Duncan and companion, Justin Crider, of Olive Hill; and four nephews. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Brother Ronald Logan and Brother Gayle Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Archer-Osborne Cemetery on Porter Creek in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, and until the service hour on Tuesday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
