04-19-12 — Mr. Charles Keith Hamilton, 61, of Emerson, passed away Monday afternoon, November 19, 2012, at his residence.
He was born August 17, 1951, in Rowan County, a son of Marcella Lovely Hamilton Logan of Walnut Grove, Olive Hill, and the late William Talmadge "Tad" Hamilton.
Keith was of the Christian faith and was a former heavy equipment machine operator and mechanic. He enjoyed working in his shop, reading, watching the news, debating and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, Keith is survived by his stepfather, Arnold Logan of Olive Hill; one son, Charles Keith Hamilton II of Emerson; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rebecca and Shane Stamper of Emerson and Bethany Hamilton of Winchester; two grandsons, Alexander and Calan Stamper; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Billy and Catherine Sue Hamilton of Morehead and Barry Hamilton of Olive Hill; three sisters and brother-in-laws, Carlotta and Dan Stibich of Hollister, Mo., Collette and Danny Hinton of Fostoria, Ohio, and Regina and Scott Elswick of Olive Hill; and a special uncle and friend, Bob Hall. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Charlie Riggs and Brother Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery on Cranston Road in Morehead.
Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2012, and until the service hour at 11 a.m. Saturday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Brandon Hinton, Dusty Hinton, Phil Tackett, Bob Hall, Shane Stamper, Tim Kilgore and Tim Jordan will serve as pallbearers.
