08/23/13 — William Albert McCleese, 89, of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday morning, Aug. 22, 2013, at his residence
He was born Sept. 30, 1923, in Lewis County, a son of the late David and Melissa Parker McCleese.
Albert was a member of the Upper Trough Camp Christian Holiness Church and was a life-long farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Sammy McCleese, and two brothers, Forest McCleese and Ray McCleese.
Albert is survived by his wife of 66 years, Cledith Henderson McCleese; two grandsons, Sam McCleese and Rodney McCleese, both of Olive Hill; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Mae Wadkins of Olive Hill. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill with Brother Russell Bud Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in the McCormick Cemetery on Brushy Creek in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, and until the service hour Sunday at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home, 145 Gearhart Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Trae McCleese, David McCleese, Greg Rayburn and Ryan Rayburn will serve as pallbearers.
