11/11/13 — Alice Marquetta Nipp Dickison, 67, of Olive Hill, passed away Saturday afternoon, Nov. 9, 2013, under hospice care at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
She was born Jan. 12, 1946, in Carter County, a daughter of Freda Cassady Nipp of Grayson and the late John Wesley Nipp.
Alice was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Satellite Beach, Fla. She enjoyed working in her flowers, watching UK basketball, traveling, watching all local sports teams and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
In addition to her mother, Alice is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ruddie Dickison; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott and Millie Dickison of Lawrenceburg and Jason Dickison of Frankfort; and one granddaughter, Meredith Dickison of Lawrenceburg. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Gary Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County.
Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, and until the service hour Wednesday, Nov.13, 2013, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
