12/03/13 — Larissa Fawn Short, 34, of Olive Hill, passed away Monday morning, Dec. 2, 2013, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born March 10, 1979, in Ashland, a daughter of Francine Click Crank of Olive Hill and the late Marvin Crank.
Larissa was a graduate of Morehead State University and worked for Inski Theatre. She was a member of the Olive Hill United Methodist Church. Larissa enjoyed caring for her children, being involved in her children’s activities, photography, doing crafts, scrapbooking and social networking. Most of all she loved spending time with her children.
In addition to her mother, Larissa is survived by her husband of 11 years, Richard Charles Short; two daughters, Raven Willow Short and Summer Skye Short, both of Olive Hill; one brother, Lance Dewayne Crank of Olive Hill; her maternal grandmother, Ruby Sherman Click of Olive Hill; her father and mother-in-law, Richard Allen and Elizabeth Short of Olive Hill; and several aunts and uncles. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill with Brother John Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the Tick Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home, 145 Gearhart Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
