9/16/13 — Donald “Dickie” M. Hamilton, 75, of Grayson, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at Oakmont Manor Nursing and Rehab in Flatwoods.
He was the son of Gobel and Ethel Kozee Hamilton.
He was retired from the State of Kentucky Highway Department, a member of the Bagby Memorial United Methodist Church, a surveyor, a real estate broker and an auctioneer.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jason Hamilton, his twin Darrell Hamilton and Everett Hamilton; two sisters, Clare Taylor and Maxine Griffith; and one step-grandchild.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, JoeAnn Taylor Hamilton; two sons, Dwight Hamilton of Grayson and Jeffrey Hamilton of Manassas, Va.; one daughter, Amy Reed of Covington, Va.; one brother, Edward Hamilton of Auburndale, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Lorie Jones of Columbus, Ohio, and Leslie Zabonik of Baltimore, Ohio; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Malone Funeral Home by Edward Hamilton and David Warner. Burial will be in the Everman Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
