04/22/2014 — Rachel Miller, 59, of Grayson, died peacefully in her home after a short illness, April 21, 2014. She was born Feb. 4, 1955, in Kalona, Iowa. She was a daughter of the late Jonas and Magdalena (Hershberger) Beachy. On Sept. 11, 1976, she was united in marriage to Menno N. Miller, and they enjoyed 37 years and seven months together. Rachel accepted Christ as her Savior in her youth and was a member of the Grayson Mennonite Church at the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband, Menno N. Miller; 11 children, Elsie Joy (Ethan) Horst of Grayson, Margaret Marie (Joseph) Martin of Dominican Republic, Conrad Lynn (Ruth) Miller of Kenton, Ohio, Marcus James (Esther) Miller of Grayson, Heidi Fern (Verlyn) Nolt of Grayson, Galen Seth (Mary Jane) Miller of Grayson, Micah Hans (Daisy) Miller of Chambersburg, Penn., Kelvin Lyle (Janelle) Miller of Thorp, Wis., Wesley Lavelle Miller (fiancé, Leah Gooch), Phyllis Annette Miller and Kristen Jon Miller at home; 34 grandchildren; four sisters, Rhoda Miller, Esther Miller, Marilyn Miller and Gloria Steiner; and six brothers, David, Nelson, John, Morris, Norman and Myron.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the First Church of Christ in Grayson, 287 Pomeroy Street, Grayson, KY 41143. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church. Her sons will serve as pallbearers, Conrad, Marcus, Galen, Micah, Kelvin, Wesley and Kristen.
Burial will follow in the Grayson Mennonite Church Cemetery, Grayson.
