08/23/2012 — Nora Eldridge, 75, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 4, 2012, in Kings Daughters Medical Center.
She was born June 28, 1937, in Carter County. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Myrtle (Stevens) Blevins. She was preceded in death by one son, Edgar Eldridge; and five brothers, Melvin Blevins, Bill Blevins, Arnold Blevins, Beecher Blevins and Jim Blevins. She was a homemaker and loving mother. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Alonzo “June” Eldridge Jr. She is survived by her six sons; Brian Eldridge, Bill Eldridge, Gary Eldridge, Harold Eldridge, Tommy Eldridge, all of Grayson, and Larry Eldridge of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; and two daughters, Nora Sue Grizzell of Hitchins and Mary Lou Curry of Greenup. She is also survived by one sister, Janet Sue Barker of Grayson; and four brothers, Bob Blevins, Jessie Blevins and Ken Blevins, all of Grayson, and Darrell Blevins of Ohio. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Sunday, October 7, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Malone Funeral home with Jackie Grizzell and Tony Seagraves officiating. Burial followed in the Eldridge Family Cemetery at Evermans Creek in Grayson. Visitation was Saturday, October 6, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home.
