02/21/13 — Ersel Ray Miller, 67, of Grayson, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. He was born Aug. 22, 1945, in Sprigg W.Va., a son of the late William and Mary Deerfield Miller.
He was in the military in the early 1960s. He then went to work for Cheap’s Chevy in Flemingsburg, D and M Body Shop in Columbus, was the owner of Miller’s Body Shop and then Dean Green’s.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Jimmy, Johnny, Roscoe and Charles Miller (infant).
His survivors include his wife of 15 years, Rhetta Clark Miller; two daughters, Vickie (Joe) Adkins of Grayson and Angela (David) Hampton of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Brian (Judi) Keith Miller of Plain City, Ohio; two step daughters, Tammy Clark and Alicha Martin, both of Grayson; three brothers, Oscar (Donna) Miller of Hitchins and Gary (Betty) Miller of Grayson; five sisters, Sheila (Jack) Lassley of Strawberry, Alaska, Brenda (Chuck) Brenzer of Columbus, Ohio, Karen Young of Grayson, Wanda (Ted) Cains of Grayson and Sylvia (Steve) McDavid of Hitchins; grandchildren Natasha (Ronnie) Lennex, Marissa Miller, Andrew Hampton, Tyler Miller, Shelby Adkins, Anna Claxon, Doug Claxon, Allie Martin and Gavin Moxley; and great-grandchildren Trisha Lennex, Caleb Lennex, Wyatt Miller and Abigail Burchett.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Malone Funeral Home by Kyle Burchett. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memorial Gardens.
