04/30/13 — Mrs. Glenda Sue Parsons Estepp Sammons, 45, of Olive Hill, passed away Sunday morning, April 28, 2013, at her residence.
She was born July 10, 1967, in Holland, Mich., a daughter of Glenn and Linda Hicks Parsons of Olive Hill.
Glenda was of the Pentecostal faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Glenda is survived by her husband of nine years, Charles Sammons; three daughters and a son-in-law, Heather and Danny Varney, Rachel Neighbors and Kandi Estepp, all of Olive Hill; four stepchildren, Randy Sammons, Kelley Sammons, Tiffany Sammons and Steven Sammons, all of Olive Hill; three grandchildren, Amanda Sublett, Kealeigh Sublett and Kami Varney; one step-grandson, David Sammons; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Joey and Rachel Parsons, Glen Jr. and Becky Parsons and John Parsons, all of Olive Hill, and Eddie Parsons of Grayson; and special friends, Ronnie and Liz Estepp. She also leaves many other family members and friends who sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill with Brother Charles Sammons and Brother Bob Stapleton officiating. Burial will follow in the Parsons Cemetery on Rattlesnake Ridge in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013, and until the service hour Thursday at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home, 145 Gearhart Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Randy Sammons, Steven Sammons, Dwight Parsons, Larry Beck, Joey Parsons, Glen Parsons Jr., John Parsons and Eddie Parsons will serve as pallbearers.
