May 6, 2014 — Mr. William "Fred" Perry, age 69, of Grayson, passed away Monday morning, May 5, 2014, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland.
He was born July 2, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son of the late William Jess and Virginia Albright Perry.
Fred attended the Four Mile Community Church and was a mechanic for Grayson Ford for 12 years. He enjoyed trading animals and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Rose Salyers, and one brother, Martin Lee Perry.
Fred is survived by his wife of 44 years, Glenna Middleton Perry; one son and his fiance, Brian Douglas Perry and Patty Hedge of Grayson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and Phillip Stamper of Olive Hill, and Donna and William "Jr" Logan of Olive Hill; one stepson, Timothy Allen Garvin of Grayson; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Willie "Bill" Perry of Olive Hill, John Perry of Olive Hill, Dave and Selena Perry of Grayson, and Everett and Shirley Perry of Grayson; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Shirley Yates of Kitts Hill, Ohio, Patricia Katherine and Marvin Barker of Grahn, Dorothy and Billy Evans of Grayson, and Mary Skaggs of Olive Hill; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with his son-in-law, William Logan Jr. and Brother Danny Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Roar Cemetery in Grahn.
Friends may visit from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
