04/07/14 — Myra Mae Tackett Nolan of Olive Hill passed away at the home of her daughter, Tamara Church, on the evening of April 4, 2014, at the age of 72.
Myra is predeceased by her husband, Jim "Tater" Nolan; mother, Kathleen DeHart Tackett; father, Arthur "Jolly" Tackett; sister, Jenny Jo Patton; brother-in-law, Roger Patton; and brothers, Henry, Jim and Mike Tackett.
Myra is survived by her daughter, Tamara Church; son-in-law, Marty Church; and granddaughter, Tia Brooke Collins and her husband Nick Collins, all of Olive Hill.
Myra is lovingly remembered by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Frances and Fred Lewis of Columbus, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Verna (Mike), Donna (Jim), Ramona (Henry) and Karen Nolan Rose and her husband Byron of Ohio; a host of beloved nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; special cousins; and friends.
Myra was born in Olive Hill on Aug. 31, 1941. She was a member of the Olive Hill United Methodist Church. Myra attended Erie Methodist School and graduated from Olive Hill High School and the Ashland Business College. She served as the secretary for Olive Hill Northeast Head Start Program for 32 years. Her greatest enjoyment was being with family and music.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at the Olive Hill United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at the Olive Hill Memorial Park with family friend Pastor Richard Allen Short and Brother Bob Burton officiating.
Honorary pallbearers include Marty Church, Nick Collins, Roger Michael Patton, Tony Tackett, Stanton Tackett, Chris Tackett, Sonny Lewis, Jack Lowe, Wendell Bush and Shane Epperson.
