6/21/13 — Virginia “Jenny” Hannah Dean, 87, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord Friday, June 21, 2013, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Jenny was born Aug. 10, 1925, in South Shore, daughter of the late Paul and Betty Jones Hannah.
Jenny was a 1944 graduate of Wheeling High School in Wheeling, W.Va. She was a dedicated member of the Pactolus United Methodist Church for over 62 years, having served in various groups with the Lyndsey-Pactolus Homemakers, Lyndsey- Pactolus Community Development and the Pactolus United Methodist Women’s group.
Jenny is survived by her husband of 67 years on June 15, John A. Dean; her son, John B. Dean, both of Grayson; a sister, Betty Jane McFadden of Gainesville, Ga.; extended family; and many special friends.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and Billy Hannah.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at Malone Funeral Home with Tom Riffe officiating. Burial will follow in the Hannah Cemetery.
