Jessie Fultz Lowe

04/25/13 — Mrs. Jessie Fultz Lowe, 86, of Olive Hill, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday evening, April 23, 2013, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 20, 1926, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Willard "W.T." and Dealie Jordan Fultz.

She was also preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Retha Lowe Pursel in 2009; son-in-law, Gary Mozingo in 2011; and infant brother, Charley Fultz.

Jessie was a graduate of Morehead State University and taught in the Carter County School System for over 28 years, retiring from Grahn Elementary School. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Olive Hill, being a Christian for many years and enjoyed reading her Bible daily. Her most enjoyable times were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, and preparing delicious meals for her family and friends.

Jessie is survived by her husband of 68 years, Lloyd Lowe; three daughters and a son in-law, Rosetta Lowe of Georgetown, Brenda Mozingo and Caffie and Gary Caudill of Olive Hill; and two grandchildren, Shawna (James) Erbe of West Milford, N.J., and Dylan Pursel of Morehead. She also leaves many other family members, church family, neighbors and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Rev. Ron Arnett and the Rev. David Gee officiating. Burial will follow in East Carter County Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, and until the service hour Saturday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.

Gary Caudill, Dylan Pursel, Jim Erbe, Jim McCormick, Roger Lowe and Mike Lowe will serve as pallbearers.
