3/13/14 — Janice Lavawn Branham Hall, 75, of Olive Hill, passed away Tuesday evening, March 11, 2014, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
She was born Aug. 25, 1938, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Charles Carson Branham and Hazel Mae Rice Lyons.
Janice was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, twins Roy and Ray Hall, and William Clayton "Billy" Hall; one daughter, Kathy Alice Hall; and one brother, James Branham.
Janice is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard "Dickie" and Juanita Elswick of Carter City and Glen Edward and Susan Hall of Olive Hill; three daughters and sons-in-law, Vera and Arlie Cooper of Grayson, Melissa and Joey Roe of Erie, Penn., and Melinda and Kevin Marble of Duluth, Minn.; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Mike Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Damron Cemetery 1 on Damron Branch in Grayson.
Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, and until the service hour Friday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
