Feb. 23, 2012 — Mrs. Rosemary McCormick Kielman, 85, of Blueberry Lane in Garrison, passed away Tuesday evening, February 21, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born May 2, 1926, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Lewis and Rebecca Cooper McCormick.
Rosemary was of the Baptist faith and was retired from the Vanceburg Foodland. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Earl Kielman; one daughter, Barbara Ann Kielman; one son-in-law, Montie Bentley; four brothers, Herb McCormick, Siguel McCormick, William McCormick and Thomas McCormick and six sisters, Eva McCormick, Beulah Clogh, Fannie Wilson, Lottie Toller, Lura June Carrington and Lillian McCormick.
Rosemary is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Eva Bentley and Margaret and William Cole, all of Garrison and Judy and Robert Craycraft of Vanceburg; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 24, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison, with Brother Gene Miracle officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lewis County.
Friends visited from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, February 23 and until the service hour on Friday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue, Garrison, Kentucky.
Scotty Hawks, Joe Paul Gilbert, Adam Craycraft, Jason Craycraft, Anthony Cole and Shane Jordan served as pallbearers.
