01/21/2013 — Clem Seagraves Sr., 93, of Grayson, went to be with his Lord, Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, following a sudden illness.
He was born Oct. 8, 1919, in Carter County, a son of the late William Joseph and Rosie Mosier Seagraves.
He was a member of the United Baptist Church and retired from Camp Robert C. Webb in Grayson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Blevins Seagraves; two sons, Troy (Vickie) Seagraves and Bob (Peg) Seagraves; and one granddaughter, Tonda Prater.
His survivors include seven sons, William Thomas (Elsie) of Hitchins, James Edward of Grayson, Roger Lee (Helen) of Rush, Roy Dean (Sue) of Hitchins, Clem Jr (Donna) of Grayson, Randy (Mary) Grayson and Howard Dale of Grayson; two brothers Earl Seagraves of Columbus, Ohio, and Ray Kenneth Seagraves of Grayson; 36 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Malone Funeral Home by J.D. Riggs and Louie Baier. Burial will be in the Edison Cemetery.
