8/12/13 — Alberta Richards Ingles, 82, of Olive Hill, passed away Sunday afternoon, Aug. 11, 2013, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
She was born Jan. 19, 1931, in Olive Hill, a daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude Bocook Richards.
Alberta was a homemaker, enjoyed baking and cooking and loved shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ralph Ingles; three brothers, Ed Richards, Paul Richards and Art Richards; and five sisters, Garnet Coleman, Lillian Short, Virginia "Jenny" Carroll, Olive Crank and an infant sister; and a son-in-law, Fergus Frank.
Alberta is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sue Ingles of Scott Depot, W.Va.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna and Bobby Price and Deb Frank, all of Galion, Ohio; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and three sisters and a brother-in-law, Bertha Carpenter of Niles, Ohio, Aileen Thompson of Morehead and Betty and Harold Bailey of Hitchins. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Richard Allen Short officiating. Burial will follow in the Watson Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, and until the service hour Wednesday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17177 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
