04-19-12 — Mr. Walter Allen Webb, 65, of Carter Caves Road, Olive Hill, passed away Saturday morning, November 17, 2012, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
He was born May 20, 1947, in Montcoal, W. Va., a son of the late Willie and Lillian Keaton Webb.
Walter was a member of Kibbey Chapel Christian Holiness Church and was retired from Ohio Brass. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Leroy Webb, Billy Joe Webb, Randy Webb and George Anderson Webb; and two sisters, Linda Wright and Patricia Ann Webb.
Walter is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna Sue Buckler Webb; four brothers, Benny Webb of Olive Hill, Lonnie Webb of Paris, Donnie Webb of Salt Lick and Larry Webb of Olive Hill; one sister, Marcella Barnett of Mansfield, Ohio; a special friend whom he thought of as a son, Paul Harriger; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves many other family members, neighbors, and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Paul Zornes and Brother Tom Pfiefer officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012, and until the service hour at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Ronald Giddings, Randy Stake, Jeremy Bowling, Gregory Davis, Gregg Abrams, Paul Harriger and Eddie Rose will serve as pallbearers.
