04/19/13 — Mrs. Sarah Lynn Cole Wilson, 50, of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 18, 2013, in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born July 26, 1962, in Elkton, Md., a daughter of the late Ernest Denvil and Ethel Pauline South Cole.
Sarah attended Grahn Hill Freewill Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed horseback riding and spending time with her family, especially her husband and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant sons; one daughter, Wendy Sue Wilson Williams; and one brother, Ralph Cole.
Sarah is survived by her husband of 35 years, James Edwin Wilson; one son and daughter-in-law, Ernest and Jinnita Wilson of Morehead; one daughter, Tami Genna of Millsboro, Del.; nine grandchildren; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Daniel and Kathy Jones of Enterprise, James Cole of Olive Hill and Elbert Cole of Grayson; and four sisters, Susie Cole and Bonnie Glispie, both of Elkton, Md., June Holbrook of Olive Hill and Evelyn Stevens of Elliott County. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Bobby Day and Brother Jimmy Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Steagall Cemetery on Lost Hills in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013, and until the service hour Tuesday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
