2/24/14 — Norma Lee Shears Savage, 65, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, in Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
She was born Nov. 8, 1948, in Grayson, a daughter of the late Richard and Jewell Meenach Shears.
Norma was a seamstress and a member of the Hitchins Gospel Mission.
Her survivors include her husband of 43 years, James “Billy” Savage of Grayson; one son, Scott Savage of Grayson; one daughter, Megan Savage of Lexington; three sisters, Barbara Shears of Greenup, Wanda Terry of Lexington and Vivian Bailey of Columbus, Ohio; three brothers, William Shears of New York, Donald Shears of Grayson and Charles Ray Shears of Paducah; and one grandson, Craig Andrew Marble of Minnesota.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at the Malone Funereal Home in Grayson with Gary Sparks and Eugene Wilburn, ministers. Burial will be in the Grayson Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening, Feb. 26, and after 9 a.m. Thursday until service time at the funeral home.
