02/11/14 — Roger Fultz, 78, of Olive Hill, passed away Monday afternoon, Feb. 10, 2014, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.

He was born Oct. 17, 1935, in Rowan County, a son of the late Coy and Ollie Bailey Fultz.

Roger was a member of the Flat Fork Church of God and retired from Hinkles in Mt. Sterling. He enjoyed hunting, trading, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 12 years, Barbara Ann Burchett Fannin Fultz, and two sisters, Dorothy Click and Aleeta Click.

Roger is survived by three stepsons, Darrell Fannin of Olive Hill, Gary Fannin of Atlanta, Ga., and Jeffrey Fannin of Olive Hill; one stepdaughter, Debbie Surface and her husband Paul of Alexandria, Ind.; one very special grandson, Casey Fannin of Alexandria, Ind.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Cecil Ray and Shirley Fultz of Butler, Ohio, and Cledith and Shirley Fultz of Olive Hill; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Harmon "Pop" Bradley of Olive Hill; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Ronald Logan and Brother Delmar Logan Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradley Cemetery on Dry Branch in Olive Hill.

Friends may visit from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, and until the service hour Friday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.

Robert Blevins, Charles Black, Timmy Bradley, Larry Harris, Jacob Waddell, Phillip Black, Hank Fultz and Ronnie Blevins will serve as pallbearers. Wendall White, Marty Stevens and David Jessie will serve as honorary pallbearers.
