04-19-12 — Ms. Wendy Sue Wilson Williams, 33, of Morehead, passed away Thursday morning, November 22, 2012, in the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Rowan County.
She was born March 6, 1979, in Elkton, Md., a daughter of James and Sarah Cole Wilson of Carter County.
Wendy was of the Christian faith and was an assistant manager at Dollar General Store in Morehead. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially playing with her children.
She was preceded in death by two infant brothers.
In addition to her parents, Wendy is survived by her fiancé, Jeremy Williams of Morehead; one son, Edwin Thornsberry of Morehead; one daughter, Alyssa Williams of Morehead; one brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Jinnita Wilson of Morehead; one sister, Tami Genna of Milford, Del.; and her paternal grandparents, Edwin Wilson of Helper City, Utah, and Leona Brown of New Castle, Del. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Bobby Day and Brother Jimmy Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Stegall Cemetery on Lost Hills in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012, and until the service hour Wednesday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
