May 20, 2014 — Mrs. Geneva Hall Craft, age 92, of Mansfield, Ohio, formerly of Grayson, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday evening, May 15, 2014.
She was born May 24, 1921, in Grayson, a daughter of the late Russell and Emmie Belle Hall.
Geneva was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, playing with her great grandkids, attending church, and going to family cookouts. Her home cooked meals were everyone’s favorite and her gentle touch will never be forgotten.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Craft; two sons, Sherman "Bud" Craft, Jr. and Johnny David Craft; and one daughter, Barbara Sue Craft.
Geneva is survived by six children, Marie Wilburn of Olive Hill, Elwood Craft of Johnsville, Ohio, Gary (Rachel) Craft, Sr. Of Mansfield, Ohio, Rita Catterson of Sidney, Ohio, Rex Craft of Lexington, Ohio, and David Wayne Craft of Mansfield, Ohio; 26 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; four siblings, Betty Stevens, Billie Jean Hall, Audrey Blevins, and George Robert Hall; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Arva. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill, with Reverend James Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Horsley Cemetery in Carter City.
Friends may visit from 12 noon to 2 p.m Monday, May 19, 2014, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home, 145 Gearhart Street, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
