02/15/13 — Wilma Mae “Jiggs” Sergent Holbrook, 77, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, in Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
She was born April 17, 1935, in Monitor, W.Va., a daughter of the late Herbert and Grace Houck Sergent.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Waggoner, and a brother, Vernon Stewart.
Wilma was a homemaker and a member of the Willard Wesleyan Church.
Her survivors include her husband of 60 years, Delmas Holbrook of Grayson; one son, Pat (Judy) Holbrook of Grayson; one daughter, Cheryl (Johnny Ray) Bradford of Grayson; two brothers, John Sergent and Don Sergent, both of Grayson; three granddaughters, Stacey (Chris) Woods of Clearwater, Fla., Amy (Bryan) Parsons of Grayson and Trish (Chad) Brammell of Grayson; and eight great grandchildren, Parker, Lila and Charlotte Woods, Grace, Holli, Charley and Finn Parsons and Macy Brammell.
Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with John Sergent and David Wilcox, ministers. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Sunday evening, Feb. 17, from 5 to 9 p.m. and Monday after 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences can be made to the Holbrook family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
