Sarah Maude Clark Buck



02/11/13 — Sarah Maude Clark Buck, 80, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

She was born Aug. 16, 1932, in Grayson, a daughter of the late George and Ruby Johnson Clark.

Mrs. Buck retired from Carter County School systems where she worked as an aid for 10 years. She attended Gregoryville Christian Holiness Church. She was a homemaker, a wife, a mother and a grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Johnson Clark; father, George Clark Sr.; and two brothers, George Clark Jr. and Warren Clark.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Raymond Fred Buck; one son, Brian and wife Jessica James Buck of Grayson; one granddaughter, Brianna Grayce Buck of Morehead; two brothers, James and wife Diane Clark of Grayson and Wayne and wife Mary Clark of Gregoryville; one sister, Sharrion and husband Phillip Lemaster of Grayson; three sisters-in-law, Virginia L. Clark of Grayson, Karen Carpenter and husband Ken of Grayson, Patricia Fankell and husband Elwood of Grayson; two brothers-in-law, Clifford Buck and wife Janet of Grayson and James Buck and wife Joyce of Grayson; and caretaker, Ernie Rogers of Grayson.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Ralph Michael Harper and Fella Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Grayson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Malone Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday after 9 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Community Hospice of Ashland would be appreciated.
