01/09/13 — Wilma Louise Burton Ratcliff, 76, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Wilma was born May 4, 1936, the daughter of the late Ralph and Beulah Agnes McGuire Burton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Oral “Chick” Ratcliff.
Wilma was a member of the Johns Run Tabernacle and enjoyed being a loving mother and grandmother.
Wilma is survived by two sons, Ralph (Bev) Ratcliff and Keith (Rachel) Ratcliff, both of Grayson; a daughter, Sharon (Larry) Cooper of Olive Hill; a daughter-in-law, Charlene Ratcliff; two sisters, Fredia (Jim) Thompson of Shelby, N.C., and Linda (Chuck) Blanton of Scottsville, Ill.; one brother, Jim (Dorothy) Burton of Grayson; six grandchildren, Timothy “Charlie”, Hager, Hank, Keshia, Josh and Gary Ratcliff; and six great-grandchildren, Zach, Kelsie, Bayleigh, Kaley, Keshawn and Bradley.
Including her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Timmy Lee Ratcliff; a granddaughter, Tammy Kay Ratcliff; and a brother, John Paul Burton.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Delmar Rogers and Hager Ratcliff officiating. Burial will follow at the Ratcliff Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
