12/05/13 — Lois Esther Wells Bond, 85, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
She was born June 22, 1928, at Hitchins, a daughter of the late Taylor and Nora Sagraves Wells.
Lois was a personal caregiver. She enjoyed needle work and was a member of the Hitchins Wesleyan Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Romie Bond; a granddaughter, Hannah Jane Bond; three brothers, Donald Wells, James Taylor Wells and Ronald Eugene Wells; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Wells.
Her survivors include three sons, Romie Dale Bond of Mansfield, Ohio, Keith (Carla) Bond of Galion, Ohio, and Jimmy Bond of Olive Hill; two daughters, Vicki Davis of Olive Hill and Elizabeth Bond (Tony) Webster of Mansfield; two sisters, Pauline Wells of Grayson and Patricia (Marshall) Ferguson of South Point, Ohio; one brother, Douglas (Corrine) Wells of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister-in-law, Shirlee Wells of Grayson; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Phillip Green and J.C. Bond officiating. Burial will be in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, and after 9 a.m. Saturday until service time at the Malone Funeral Home.
