03/18/13 — Eunice Duncan “Plum” Hall, 81, devoted wife of Bill Hall, went home to the Lord, Friday, March 15, 2013. Born in Olive Hill, Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Myrtle DeHeart Duncan. A graduate of Olive Hill High School, with perfect attendance, she was a member and a former receptionist at Gardenside Baptist Church, where she was also active in the Linda Franklin Sunday School Class.
In addition to her husband of 47 years, she is survived by her children, Billie Jo (Brett) Setzer of Nicholasville, Yvonne Hall of Knoxville, Tenn., Cristie Hayes of Anchorage, Alaska, and Dwayne (Marsha) Hall of Colorado; sister, Nora Mae Lawson; brothers, Virgil Duncan, Arnold Duncan and Bunny (Jeannette) Duncan; and grandchildren, Chelsea Hayes and Alex, Peyton, Laurel, Brooks and Savannah Setzer. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Plum’s caregiver, Heather.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Milward-Southland by the Rev. James Heard and the Rev. Butch Vernon. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Marvin Reed, James Berry, Ken Marshall, Lewis Rigsby, Joe Earlywine, Jonahs Creech, Kenneth Ginter and Carl Sword.
Visitation was 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Memorials may be made to Gardenside Baptist Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
