11/04/13 — David Ervin Strouse, 61, of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday morning, Oct. 31, 2013, at the Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson.
He was born Sept. 25, 1952, in Mansfield, Ohio, a son of the late Ervin and Mary Ziway Strouse.
David was of the Baptist faith and worked at local sawmills. He enjoyed Bingo tickets and fooling with lawnmowers.
David is survived by three brothers, Grover Strouse, Dewayne Strouse and Steve Strouse, all of Mansfield, Ohio; four sisters, Shirley Strouse, Leona Jeffries and Goldie Richards, all of Mansfield, Ohio, and Diana Humphries of Olive Hill; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill with Brother Paul Zornes officiating. Burial followed in the Fultz Cemetery in Olive Hill.
John Humphries, Todd Humphries, Lindzy Humphries, Steve Strouse, Randy Baker and Ronnie Buckler will serve as pallbearers.
