11/19/13 — Billye Littleton Hawes, 65, of Olive Hill, passed away Monday afternoon, Nov. 18, 2013, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
She was born Sept. 11, 1948, in Grayson, a daughter of the late Clarence Littleton and Virginia Maggard Stevens.
Billye was a member of the Olive Hill Church of Christ and was retired. She enjoyed reading, playing scrabble and watching scary movies with the kids. She loved traveling with her family, going to Tennessee at Christmas and spending time with her friends and especially her family.
Billye is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Tracy and Gretchen Kiser of Centreville, Va.; three daughers and sons-in-law, Jenny and Charlie Knipp of Olive Hill, Suzi and Ed Ginter of Grayson and Samantha and Sam Thompson of Olive Hill; eight grandchildren, Tyberius Knipp, Landace Roark, Alexandria Knipp, Triston Ginter, Justina Kiser, Freddy Kiser, Spencer Kiser and Haley Callahan; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Tim and Koneta Littleton of Willard and Terry and Tammy Stevens of Louisville; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sharon Hay and Jackie and Doug Carter, all of Louisville. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother John Brown and Brother Dustin Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Olive Hill Memorial Park.
Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Tracy Kiser, Charlie Knipp, Ed Ginter, Sam Thompson, Tyberius Knipp and Triston Ginter will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Kendrick Fankell, Zachary Thompson and Jeffery Holbrook.
