Phillip "Grizz" Hatfield


9/9/13 — Phillip “Grizz” Hatfield, 63, of Webbville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at the Community Hospice Care Center. 

He was born April 16, 1950, in West Hamlin, W.Va., a son of the late Rev. Rollie and Edna Hatfield. 

He was the owner of Grizz’s Den Antique Guns Shop and a long time historical re-enactor and firearms expert. 

He is survived by four daughters, Tabatha Steger (Reynold), Rachael Hatfield, Breanna Hatfield and Jenna Hatfield; one son, Rollie E. Hatfield (Nichelle); two sisters, Beverly Wooten (the Rev. Darrell Wooten) and Lola Lowe (Susan Founts); one brother, Joseph Hatfield (Sandra); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and family. 

Friends visited from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville, W.Va. 

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel in Barboursville with Pastor Paul Fryman officiating.  Burial followed in Green Valley Cemetery.
