08/23/2012 — Mrs. Mary Lou Roseberry Logan, 53, of Laurel Creek Road in Vanceburg, passed away Friday afternoon, September 28, 2012, in Olive Hill, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born December 28, 1958, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Grover D. and Opal Rayburn Roseberry.

Mary was a member of Bairtown Church of God and has been serving the Lord for 42 years. She served as the secretary and church mother for Bairtown. Mary worked as postmaster for seven years at Emerson and as a counselor at Sunrise Children Services. She enjoyed going to church, being a homemaker, going on vacation with her sisters and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, David Roseberry; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Wanda Jean Roseberry and Karen and Charles Burchett.

Mary is survived by her husband of 34 years, Carlyle Logan, whom she married on October 8, 1978; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Derrick and Jackie Logan of Emerson and Devin Logan, of Vanceburg; one daughter, Carlissa Logan of Vanceburg; one granddaughter, Abagale Logan of Emerson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Phillip and Regina Roseberry of Georgetown and Lewis "Marty" and Debbie Roseberry of Olive Hill; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Violet and Haskell Markwell of Olive Hill, Janet and Dale Adkins of Sandy Hook, Frances and Leonard Conkwright of Olive Hill, Etta and Jeff Zornes of Emerson and Kathy and Elijah Wagoner of Olive Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary also leaves many other family members, church family, neighbors and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother Charles Ray Barker, Brother Johnny Moore, Brother Elijah Wagoner and Brother Justin Wagoner officiating. Burial was in the Hamilton and Mawk Cemetery on Tar Fork in Lewis County.

Friends visited from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2012, and until the service hour at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.

Jason Wagoner, Josh Burchett, Donald Burchett, Gary Allen Harper, David Roseberry, Ryan Buckler, Chaston Knipp and Bill Bradley served as pallbearers. Jeff Burchett will serve as honorary pallbearer.
