08/23/2012 — Shirley Louise Elliott Ingles, 62, of Mt. Sterling, formerly of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday morning, Oct. 11, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 26, 1950, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Robert Oddie and Goldie Ison Elliott.
Shirley was of the Apostolic faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Elliott, and two sisters, Thelmie Christine Elliott and Mary Emily Elliott.
Shirley is survived by five sons and two daughters-in-law, Rob and Michelle Ingles, John and Lenora Ingles, Steve Ingles and Matt Ingles, all of Olive Hill and Brent Biggs of Morehead; one daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Rocky Parker of Mt. Sterling; eight grandchildren, Johnathan Ingles, RayAnn Ingles, Logan Ingles, Danny Ingles, Jody Ingles and Caleb Ingles, all of Olive Hill, and Taylor Pennington and Tyler Biggs, both of Morehead; four brothers, Bob Elliott and George Elliott, both of Olive Hill, John Elliott and Ray Elliott, both of Grayson; two sisters, Helen Romans of Irvine, and Sue Ingles of Olive Hill; and the father of her children, Danny Ingles of Olive Hill. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill with Brother Matt Blankenship and Brother Andy Bond officiating. Burial was in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends visited after 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home, 145 Gearhart Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Steven Ingles, Robert Ingles, Gary Crouch, Billy Middleton, Danny Ingles and Tony Cutwright served as pallbearers. Brent Biggs and John Ingles served as honorary pallbearers.
