01/13/14 — Chalmer Sterle Clark, 56, of Olive Hill, passed away Tuesday evening, Jan. 7, 2014, at his residence.
He was born May 7, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Harold Otis and Catherine Moore Clark.
Chalmer was a former employee of Eddie’s Glass Company in Ohio and enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering on cars with his dad.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Rozenamae Mooney Clark, and one brother, John Clark.
Chalmer is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse and Valerie Clark of Delaware, Ohio, and John and Autumn Clark of Marian, Ohio; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Jeff Matthews of Grayson and Linda Clark and Chris Richardson of Soldier; 10 grandchildren and one on the way; four great-grandchildren; brother and a sister-in-law, Thomas and Betty Clark of Columbus, Ohio; and one sister, Marla Clark-DeHays of Columbus, Ohio. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill with Brother Edward Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Clark Family Cemetery in Soldier.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
