12/17/13 — William Edward "Will" Johnson, 33, of Olive Hill, passed away Wednesday evening, Dec. 11, 2013, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
He was born Dec. 24, 1979, in Morehead, a son of Nellie Bledsoe Jones of Olive Hill and the late Charles Johnson.
Will was a self-employed construction worker and enjoyed coaching ball games and watching his children play sports.
He was also preceded in death by two stepbrothers, Chuck Johnson and Roger Johnson.
In addition to his mother and stepfather, Rick Jones, Will is survived by his wife of 13 years, Nancy Lewis Johnson; two sons, William Johnson and Christopher Johnson, both of Olive Hill; two daughters, Samantha Johnson and Layla Johnson, both of Olive Hill; one sister, Teresa Bledsoe of Olive Hill; one stepbrother, Israel Binion of Olive Hill; and two stepsisters, Tonya Johnson of Ohio and Sara Richardson of Indiana. He also leaves many other family members and friends who sadly mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill with Brother John Hanna officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson-Bledsoe Cemetery on McConnell Branch in Grahn.
Friends may visit from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be William Johnson and Christopher Johnson.
