08/23/2012 — Roy Elmer Mullins, Jr., 62, of Grayson, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. He was born August 19, 1950, in Hitchins, a son of the late Roy Sr. and Vesta Stegall Mullins. He was a member of Johns Run Tabernacle, a farmer and laborer. His survivors include his wife, Bonnie Gumm Mullins of Grayson; four sons, Johnny (Missy) Jordan, Roy Mullins III, Robert (Miranda) Mullins and Jerry Mullins, all of Grayson; two daughters, April (Charles) Russell of Olive Hill and Misty (Roger) Wolford of Huntington, W.Va.; five sisters, Ida Belle Leadingham of Olive Hill, Clara Belle Gilbert of Grayson, Janet Heaberlin of Tampa, Fla., Rosella Cochran of Olive Hill and Belva Cartwright of Grayson; one brother, Jim Mullins of Denton; and grandchildren, Jonathan, Tyler, Eric, Nathan, Ashley, Brandon, Jayden, Aubrey, Carley, Jessica and Andrew.
Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Malone Funeral Home by Leonard Gollihue. Burial followed in the Fortner Cemetery in Denton.
