Two Grayson men riding motorcycles died following a head-on collision with another driver who lost control of his car Friday afternoon, according to police.

The three-vehicle accident occurred at 3:42 p.m. Kentucky State Police said Brian Robinette, 29, of Wellington was westbound on KY 1274 in a 1994 Chevy Camaro when he allegedly lost control and over corrected. Robinette’s brakes locked up causing the vehicle to skid into the eastbound lane striking head-on William Walker, 62, operating a 2008 BMW motorcycle, and Bruce R. Miller, 64, riding a 1998 Ducati motorcycle, according to police.

Both Walker and Miller were airlifted by PHI helicopter to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Miller died at 5:09 p.m. Friday from injuries he sustained in the wreck and Walker died on Saturday, police said.

Two passengers in the Robinette vehicle, whose names were not released, were transported by Morehead - Rowan EMS to St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

Another motorcycle accident occurred on KY 1274 about two hours after the fatality, when a man who approached the three-car collision turned around and traveled toward Cave Run Lake. He also was airlifted to UK. His name, condition and cause of the accident were not known at press time. The accidents remain under investigation by KSP.
