April 13, 2011 — Bonnie Branham Baier


    Bonnie Baier, 63, of Huff Run died early Friday morning April 8, 2011 at Community Hospice in Ashland. She was born Jan. 30, 1948 in Hitchins, to the late Clifford Branham and Irene Sparks Suttles. Bonnie was a housewife and of the United Baptist Faith.

    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-dad, Earl Suttles and four brothers, Keith and Seith Branham, Clifford Harlan Branham, and John Branham.

    She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years , Lewis H. Baier Sr.; three daughters, Angie Baier, Anita (Harold) Bush,Mandy Baier; two sons, Lewis H.(Karen) Baier Jr. and Robert (Amanda) Baier all of Grayson, KY; five grandchildren, Kyra Baier, Tyler Baier, Payton Baier, Preston Baier, and Addison Baier; one grand-dog, Snickers; five brothers, Donald (Erma) Branham of Grayson, KY, Ronnie (Wanda) Branham of Grayson, KY, Carl (Brenda) Branham of Chesapeake, OH, Gary Branham of Grayson, KY, Warren (Dianne) Branham of Grayson, KY; four sisters, Maggie Caines, Phyllis (Jim) Holbrook, Deb (Greg) Gullet, and Barb (Rick) Carroll all of Grayson. In addition she is survived by a host of relatives and friends that mourn her passing.

    Funeral services were conducted 10 am Sunday April 10, 2011 at the Sparks Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Edison Cemetery in Grayson, KY.

Marie Perkins Blythe

1925 - 2011

    Marie Perkins Blythe, 85 of Webbville, KY went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 05, in Kings Brook Life Center. 

    She was born November 14, 1925 in Lawrence Co., KY a daughter of the late John W. and Flora Berry Perkins.

    She was retired from Franklin Chemical in Columbus, OH, a member of the Cherokee Freewill Baptist Church and the Highlock Freewill Baptist Church in Columbus. 

    She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Blythe; one brother Art Perkins, four sisters Pauline Morgan, Opal Ratcliff, Annie Walls and Velsie Mae Perkins; great grandchildren Molly French, Melissa Crain and Aaron Sloas.

    Her survivors include:  three sons James and wife Mary Sue French, Larry and wife Sherry French, and Charles and Patricia French all of Webbville; one sister Dorothy Comer of Orient,OH; five brothers Wayne Perkins, Paul Perkins, Melvin “Tiny” Perkins all of Webbville; Roger Perkins of Ashland and LeRoy Perkins of Lauraville, OH; grandchildren Mitchell French of Portland, OR, David French of Ashland, Stephanie Crain of Ashland, Sara Jean Ramey of Webbville, Crescent Holbrook of Grayson, Charles French II of Webbville, Sandy Groves of Willard and Kenny Sloas of Ashland; great grandchildren Xander French and Malcom French of Portland, OR, Jordan French of Seattle, Brittany Ramey, Bethany Ramey and Carrie Ramey of Webbville, Halle Holbrook, Hannah Holbrook and Hayden Holbrook of Grayson, Chase See of Louisa, Mason French and Charles M. French III of Webbville, Sean Crain and Lindsey Crain both of  Ashland, Brandon Groves and Leandra Groves both of Willard.  Special niece Darlene McKnight and Special friend Ruby Casey.

    Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 8 at Cherokee Freewill Baptist Church by David Boggs.

    Burial was in the Perkins Family Cemetery. 

    Friends called at the Cherokee Freewill Baptist Church on Thursday until funeral service.
