PFC Joshua Palowitch graduated with honors from basic training in the U.S. Army at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on Sept. 14, 2007.
Joshua graduated in the top 10% of his battery, out of a total 183 men. He also earned the title of lightweight champion of combatitive training for his platoon.
His very proud parents are Elizabeth Seagraves of Hitchins and John Palowitch of Grayson.
Joshua was born Sept. 22, 1989 and was a 2007 graduate of East Carter High School. He is not in Phoenix, Arizona for advanced individual training.
Joshua’s older brother, age 22, is a member of the Kentucky National Guard.
