Lowe promoted to staff sergeant

— Christopher W. Lowe has been promoted to the rank of staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
Lowe, a training supervisor with five years of military service, was awarded the Army Achievement Medal on May 14, 2007.
He is the son of Ken H. Lowe of State Highway 2, Olive Hill, Ky., and Shirley A. Sansom of Regal Oaks, Barboursville, W.Va.
The sergeant is a 2002 graduate of Easter Carter High School, Grayson, Ky.
