Tackett leads list of 41 indictments

June 25, 2014 — A Carter County grand jury indicted 41 persons on June 13.

Robert A. Tackett, 47, of Olive Hill, was indicted on four felony charges, including one count of rape, one count of sodomy and one count of incest, all Class B felonies.

He also faces one count of use of an electronic communications system to procure a minor to commit a sexual offense, a Class D felony.

The new indictments are in addition to an attempted murder charge handed down against Tackett in May.

The grand jury also indicted five individuals for operating an organized crime syndicate.

Named were Marrissa N. Blevens, 19, of West Jefferson, Ohio, Brandon R. Mulford, 19, of Galloway, Ohio, Steven M. Conner, 35 of Grayson, Margret Sturgill, 29, of Grayson, and Greg Rose, 50, of Grayson.

They are charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, a Class D felony, and one count of engaging in organized crime, a Class B felony.

The grand jury also indicted:

Justin Adams, 33, of Grayson, on three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, a Class C felony, and three counts of being a persistent felony offender, a Class B felony.

Howard W. McGuire, 52, of Grayson, on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, one a Class C felony and one a Class D felony.

Larry E. Salyers, Jr., 32, of Grayson, on three counts of theft by unlawful taking, a Class D felony.

Melissa M. Green, 40, of Grayson, on one count of sexual abuse, a Class D felony.

Suzanne M. Pouliot, 44, Jameson R. Skaggs, 37, and Rhonda Greer, 38, all of Olive Hill, on one count of flagrant non-support, a Class D felony.

Jamie Sparks Wagoner, 25, of Grayson, on one count of criminal abuse, a Class C felony.

Maryjane Miller, 23, of Argillite, on one count of possession of a forged instrument, a Class D felony; second degree burglary, a Class C felony; and fraudulent use of a credit card under $500, a Class A misdemeanor.
